This story is a classic with an equally timeless message about pride and humility.
This story addresses the bragging problem so eloquently that my students began to reflect on how to treat each other in the classroom. The voices, background noise, and visuals all add a depth to the story that keeps students interested.
Story is fine but when you are reading by yourself (not having it read to you) it insists on interrupting you to randomly announce things which completely breaks the rhythm. There is no way to turn it off.
